IMO telescope below RM300 are considered "toy scope".

Ah, at last. Found this thread.
I'm a stargazer since 8 years old. Always fascinated by the night sky.
Unfortunately, my telescope is too small. I need to find another telescope.
Anyway, you guys know how to mount a digital camera to the telescope to take pictures?

Assalamualaikum and hi to all stargazers.

In Malaysia where can I buy Pyrex blanks for grinding?

Maybe kat Perak?

Ada macam kilang kaca or something?

Thanks.

However, someone who really want to enjoy stargazing but not ready to invest in telescope should consider a binocular.
A 7x50 binocular can give u a good view of the night sky even the craters of moon, and the price is less than RM300.

Can't believe it has been almost 10 years since I read this advice and hold off for so long to get one.

So is this age old advice still valid? Balik kampung soon so clear sky is not a problem.
