 share return's cheque lost!

I have 20 lot of MIDF share but the MIDF was acquire by PNB. I have accepted acquisition. Unfortunately, I have lost the cheque. Anybody can help we how to get the replacement cheque?

call to the firm that issue that cheque.
Just tell them you lost the cheque. They will replace for you. Hopes this helps.

Ps: btw its your money they are obligated to give you.
Remember consumers rights haha

For normal dividend, company registrar is the party responsible for it. But for your case of taking over, you need to know whether PNB apppoint any party (investment bank etc) to handle the take-over issue for them which generally people do.

You can ask the investment bank or brokers house to find out for you.

You don't need to go to the bank that was it drawn on.

If you go to the acceptance document, it will tell you who is the party acquiring (actually in this case, it's probably PNB or an entity of PNB). Ask the party what was the process. They would have received the register of accepting shareholders from the company registrar.

One of the earlier posters is correct - just because you lost the cheque doesn't mean you cannot get the money, it's your right - the funds are due to you.
