I dont think AMD C n Q will work properly with your overclocked proc as you have raised the voltages, while C n Q operates with stock voltages. Use crystal cpu ID. With it you can set the proc to operate at lowest possible voltage n multiplier at idle to save on electricity and heat and set it to your required oc levels for gaming and other stuff. It works to adjust the settings automatically just like C n Q

I tink you have to loosen that timing thingy when going for higher clockspeed, the 1 thats like 75ns, 128ns etc etc.

ram timing yes but from what i noticed that particular setting(refresh recycyle time) also epends on clockspeed. I have to loosen mine when i go beyond 2.7ghz to even just boot!

Could be your proc at its max ady. 5000+ BE usually hit their limit around 3.2-3.4ghz if im not mistaken . Also try adding memory voltage a lil.

And AFAIK using high FSB+low multi doesnt really improve performance for AMD systems, might as well go for low FSB+high multi to prevent stress on your mobo etc

You guys having typical vdroop la. I have the same prob. My proc goes from 1.47v at idle(no cores loaded) to 1.45v when 1 core is loaded(like running superpi) to 1.44v when both cores are loaded(orthos). Its smth to do with the mobo, a design flow or smth.

you couldve used windows repair bro, same thing happened to me lastime too.

Most 65W X2's stock voltage is around 1.25V, but there is an exception as some are also 1.35v. Try leaving the voltage control in bios at stock and see what you get in cpu-z etc.

Reflashed your bios? I had a similar problem before but it affected my multiplier(the changes wouldnt set).

I would recommend using bios 0803. Its pretty old but its good enough to reach HTT345(on my board). And dont be scared of increasing chipset voltage. This mobo likes it. Ive been running mine on 1.3v with the stock cooler for the past 8 months ald.

The hang was caused by instability, but I would advice you not to take the everest log info that seriously. Its got bugs I guess. I've seen my core speed go up to 9Ghz in some log entires. Wooohooo......World Record for me

Try using prime95 multithreaded or occt as alternatives. I had similar issues with orthos but the other apps worked fine.
