Because it goes with my HT room theme which is black. LCD TV black, PS3 black, speakers black, curtain black, carpet black, diffuser black, recliners black, and suddenly a gold/silver yammie? That is gay.
*
haha! just because color don't match means gay? LOL you seen million dollar home theater or not? example, got a USD20k kaleidescope brand video server in pearl white color.. amongst racks of black monster cable power regulators also dem chun lor..

Probably it is a calibration issue. Or the 630 speakers volume setting is near maximum.

now I understand what's your SPL meter doing in my Zoom zoom. tongue.gif

someone used it to setup his yammy hor.. biggrin.gif

Yes, worth it as BD60 internal decoding aint as good as a good avr.

I instantly hear the diff when I ditched my PS3 for BD60 (bitstream) to my 1800. However, I am going to ditch my 1800 soon as I found my new love  wub.gif

Not Emotiva for now. But, it will at later stage.

I am going back to my 'old flame'  blush.gif  Yes, it is a Denon. Erm.... how do you know that I am getting 4310?  hmm.gif
*
would you think a emotiva UMC-1 + the 7ch pre-power combo will be better than the 4310? toying with the idea.. biggrin.gif

bro tomcruise, think you better pm htkaki
RX-V665 is a good AVR same category with denon 1909/1910

pricing wise i'm not very sure, for review wise its better than the denon 1909 and set being review was the older model RX-V663

tom cruise also looking for 2nd hand stuffs ar? laugh.gif

bro ar, does it answer what you are looking for base on the website??

like i say me layman only but i sure can tell what good bass is, but i really dont know if it meet your requirements

luckily have 2 RCA phono L/R jacks power in...
connected it with the yammy main left and right pre out.
set cross over setting at 95hz,
Sub level at 1 o'clock
power up the system.... standing by... biggrin.gif

curi some 5minutes of astro time (between advertisment)
load in Sheffield Lab's ~ James Newton Howard & Friends ~ Track 9
AVR at pure direct mode, crank up the volume....... presto, tight mid-bass, and bottom end, blends very well with audica's satellites
rclxms.gif
yes its a made in USA one. later will try switching this to be the .1 channel biggrin.gif
hopefully my i can get the "jaw-drop" effect  tongue.gif
*
saw the site.. no it doesn't answer.. sorry sad.gif

Frequency Response 20-125 Hz +/- 2 dB

this means it's quite flat ..which is good.. but doesn't tell how loud..

the loudness is it refering to making your sofa's tremble or vibrate, windows rattling. etc
or is it like Discotech that the impact that force/pumps to one's heart

thnaks
*
bro.. the loudness means it can be a whisper or can make your body rumble.. it's still at that frequency..

anyway can't expect much from 125w sub amp..

seriously.... it really makes me wonder y u ask that question in the 1st place
can SVS do that kinda stuff?? rclxub.gif

or r you refering to the impact/impulse of an atomic bomb that no subs can do??

Added on September 15, 2009, 12:15 amdont know how far is it true, i haven't withness it personally

heard from a fren that bass from some subs can really make your pants (of course the leg part la) move
i find it very "Kua Cheong"
even if its true... its not hifi already not the original but AMPLIFIED

the true to originals are drums performances during dinner, or our Lion Dance "drum beat" which really kick one's heart and it depends on how enclosed the area is.
this is what i call original HiFi sound, and that's what we shud be aiming after all this years of quest smile.gif
*
we use sub when watching movies for the LFE track, not buy sub primarily to listen to music in a stereo system la.. so why talking about Hifi sound? hmm.gif

anyway, since you havent' heard svs type of sub or submersive perform at 20-30Hz, how would you know it's kua cheong sound?

maybe it's something else, maybe it's the part of low frequency sound that you don't hear, but feel..
