Yes, worth it as BD60 internal decoding aint as good as a good avr.

I instantly hear the diff when I ditched my PS3 for BD60 (bitstream) to my 1800. However, I am going to ditch my 1800 soon as I found my new love

RX-V665 is a good AVR same category with denon 1909/1910

pricing wise i'm not very sure, for review wise its better than the denon 1909 and set being review was the older model RX-V663

AVR at pure direct mode, crank up the volume....... presto, tight mid-bass, and bottom end, blends very well with audica's satellites

heard from a fren that bass from some subs can really make your pants (of course the leg part la) move
i find it very "Kua Cheong"
even if its true... its not hifi already not the original but AMPLIFIED

the true to originals are drums performances during dinner, or our Lion Dance "drum beat" which really kick one's heart and it depends on how enclosed the area is.
