its a great phone... have always been a samsung suporter...
ram: definitely faster than a nokia N series
camera: great not amazing....
gps: still cant seem 2 b able 2 use....

aprently there is something wrong wif my 3g... i keep getting error message "packet data connection not available" but i've been told its a service provider problem.... Maxis!

all in all i tink it was worth my money.. buy it!!.....

ps: i cant seem 2 use my front camera to take picture....

n abt the ram, it a good thing to hear that its faster than nokia.... well, how much ram is free on a fresh start?
cam wise.... 5mpx with face detection.... well, it good enuf for me
btw, how the xenon (i heard its weak)? the IS? the optical zoom? n camera response (start up/ saving/ focus speed)?
anyway, it definitely in my list once u sort out the gps thingy

Ya, I still waitng for someone to give some comments about the GPS...

My friend used the Samsung i550, not able to get the GPS signal when under the roof.

not sure how good the receiver of this phone.

just hold this G810 yesterday at phone shop..
so bulky but comfortable in hand
looks a like digicam
solid build..

Just now i m confuse which lover i should choose.... N82 or G810......

i emailed samsung n they actually told me i can... but then again they mayb wrong... as 4 how much free ram on a fresh start.. i duno... how do i check? n the flash is not bad but on auto mode it has the tendency to go off even when its not needed... n a nother set back is no night mode..... optical zoom is good gets bit blurry when u max it... camera response is fast tink around d speed of a typical digi cam... i have been busy for the past few weeks havent had the time to play wif d gps... will let u noe if i get it 2 work



can play youtube directly.... it will open in real player... also wanna add the streaming very fast...

just bought the phone yesterday, FMG set, comes with 2GB memory card + shop's free 2GB for RM 1550... cheapest i can get... still dizzy coz lack of sleep... fiddling fiddling with the menu n such...

so far my views:

Anatomy - good, solid grip.. definitely a man's (big hand) phone

GPS - preinstalled software is so so, hv to download / install 3rd party software... i'll be looking for a free gramin software hehehe...

OS - Symbian 60, Nokia licensed. nothing different from other Nokia N series
