ahhh.. not to comment about elianto's quality... but... i had bad experience with them tho....
making up is pretty simple =) i can provide you a small 1 to 1 tutorial if you're free to come over my place.. hehehehe... =) or if u wanna safe energy.. go act like u wanna buy makeup stuffs at bobbi.. or mac.. or those counter... tell them u wanna try this try that... and ask them to put them on ur face.. from primer to foundation, to highlighter, to eyeliner, to mascara.. to eyeshadow.. to blusher, to lip colour.. hehehhee.. at the end of the day.. PLSSS... do buy one thing.. maybe get a lip gloss or what.. at least they wouldn't be frustrated.. hahahha... and yea.. by the way... my suggestion for simple basic makeup set... u need a foundation (that's if your skin is not pure baby skin), blusher, eyeliner (pencil prefered as u're new), mascara FOR SURE, eyelash curler FOR SURE, eyebrow pencil, a black and a white eyeshadow, and of course.. a LIP GLOSS =) basic enough =) |

If you have sensitive skin, you should always avoid cheap make-ups ^__^

Please help and i never have this kind of experience before. thanks If you want a thorough makeup experience, you should try getting those 'package' deal, for example, buying a RM 100 voucher for a free makeup sessions plus a personalised A4 sized photo printed out, the voucher used to be redeemed for the makeup items.or, you can just go to these makeup booths, ask for a sample make over ( some are gladly to do them, since they wanted sales ), and just buy whatever makeup kits that caught your fancy from them. or, buy a fashion magazine ( Cawaii, Cleo,etc..), they had those beauty make up sessions. Buy those makeup items from pharmacy or hypermarkets ( where its cheaper ), and then sit infront of the mirror and try copy what these models looks like. |

QUOTE(feyhime @ Feb 25 2008, 03:10 PM) i dun think this is right.. sensitive skin is just sensitive towards certain ingredients.. i have a cheap face that i can use cheap makeups.. but when i used clinique's skin care.. i had really bad skin! For example their blemish wash.. it's not only cleaning my blemishes.. it's burning my face! So.. it's all depending on trials and errors.. everyone has to been there.. gone through the process |

For example their blemish wash.. it's not only cleaning my blemishes.. it's burning my face! So.. it's all depending on trials and errors.. everyone has to been there.. gone through the process that's true cheap doesn't mean not good or not suitable for sensitive. I love my cheapo eyeshadows while I get an allergic reaction from Dior's shadow. I love my cheapo lip glosses and I get swollen lips from BEnefit and Estee Lauder's lip glosses... it all comes down to yourself. if you're allergic to certain ingredients. you just gotta monitor what you use and if you're allergic to a product, try to compare it with another product tht you're allergic to as well as a product that you're not allergic to, to find out wht ingredients that can possibly cause a reaction. Usually animal based ingredients such as lanolin and beeswax have a higher chance of causing allergies. and also same goes for fragrances and alcohol may cause some irritation. but having sensitive skin doesn't mean that you have to rule out practically anything that contains allergens until you're sure that you're allergic to it. or you'd miss out on many great products! For example. I thought I was allergic to seafood because I can't eat prawn and crab. And I missed out good years of eating squid when all this while i'm not allergic to it. luckily, by taking that risk, I am now happily eating squid. lol. |

Is TS still around and watching this thread?
Anyways, just start off with the basics. Powder (foundation before powder if you're really rajin), eyeliner, eyelash curler, mascara and lipstick/lipgloss. That's my normal malas routine! Foundation, blusher & eyeshadow when I'm rajin! |
