tested FF3 beta 2. great features but still unstable and cant support many extension. now im back to FF2

i realized starting from firefox 1.5, when opening alot tabs obviously the memory increases but when later you close the tabs and just leave one tab open, the memory doesnt decrease.
Bcos I surf multiple pages at one time Firefox always runs around 90mb-120mb. This is not an issue in Safari or Opera for Windows. |

manutddotcom, that because FF got feature that can reload ur closed tab. means that FF store ur closed tab in memory. no wonder ur ram usage not decrease after close the tab.restart ur FF will solve that

But Firefox should have just save the link instead of caching the pages.
Recently closed tab is not some function we often use. |

Haizz....I hope Firefox won't end up like IE. They need to understand that too much memory will lead to lagg. Yea, I understand Americans have 2gb more on their pcs, but they should also know about us here in the Asia.

wish new version got option to enable / disable reload tab thingy. can save memory space.

I think I change to Maxthon browser... It is like firefox initially.. now its becoming more like IE.. Slower now to start up the browser...
