Recently I discovered some black lines on my 2year old ipod video screen when the backlight is lit. It started off with some blob in the middle of the screen but 2 lines appeared the next day.

Has anyone experienced the same thing and how to fix this?

I havent experience this, but i think its due to a faulty screen. Have your ipod sent to any apple shop and have them check it out for you.

If your ipod is still under warranty i'm sure they will replaced a brand new one for you.

well, 2 years old iPod video won't be any warranty more even u purchase the applecare. well to be honest, if u ask apple to change the iPod video screen for you, is sure that u can buy back a iPod classic. don't believe ? try and ask
