Hey, Nick here from Toybox.

1. In terms of events, we have been having Sealed and Draft sessions. We are also starting the Spoils Hobby League in March and we will announcing something major probably by April or May. It is pretty exciting, we just need to iron out some details.

In one month, we have a player base of around 20? So, the indication is good that this is pretty good. On top of that, Tenacious Games have recently informed us that they will be officially supporting this region. In terms of latest expansion, we are currently one expansion behind them but it is pretty deliberate. We want to push the first and second expansion before launching the third probably in April.

2. There are expensive cards in any card game but I wouldn't say that they are all must have. Certainly helps sometime though

3. This will be an awesome community. No offense to MTG players, but the reason we hated the game so much so that we don't carry the game in our store is because of the unfriendly community that comes along with the game. Therefore, we try to make sure our community remains as friendly as possible.

4. I believe TG is here to stay as long as they see it is worth it. I would say it helps as we are pretty excited in pushing it for them.

And sorry for the out of stock, we didn't anticipate the game to move so fast. But it is all good. It means that our efforts are paying off.

Sealed are usually RM52 for competition pack and it comes with two free boosters. Drafts are usually RM33 for three packs and a box of boosters is RM140.

As we didn't have a Sealed tournament in February, we gave the opportunity to players to get the benefits as long as they buy the competition pack. We are opened on Sundays but we have been closed for the past two weeks due to TNB work.

SEED is most likely coming in April.

@Adam Dude, just use Toybox as the address for request. Then, once you get the kit, we can decide to hold it at another store.

We are already planning a demo at Toyzbar in Atria sometime in mid-March with the 4 demo decks that we have.

And no, you can't use SEED until it is launched here.

Just use our address, coz you have it ma. Then we will choose a different retail outlet, be it Comics Corner or Comics Mart or some other place

We will be demoing at MMU using the four decks and whatever decks we have made so far. The challenge now is trying to get the stock in by this weekend.

Well, the addresses can be easily obtained. All shops have their listed address anyway.

The part where you have to be there is going to be tricky. As I said before, sometimes the best time to do demos might not suit your schedule. Can't you work around it by having someone write the report for you and you can submit it in?

And three weeks is a long time although it is an adequate time. I can definitely let you know that we are running a demo in Toyzbar in two weeks time.

I appreciate all that you have done for us and it was you who kickstarted all of this anyway but sometimes demos can really be unplanned for. Probably a week's notice or so. By then, we usually just run with what we got.

Anyway, I am asking Ong to be an Ambassador, hopefully then, the both of you can work together to push for demos.

Oh, stock sudah sampai kat toybox.

Err we started off with WoW and it will not be nice to have two TCG events on the same days.

So, as long as WoW is still alive, we have to support the community. After all, they have been with us for a long time.

We also know that Friday and Saturday is good time but we don't want to cannibalise both the games. Some of the Spoils players are also WoW players.

When we see a shift in player base, then we will consider holding two events at once.

But we are scared suddenly a surge of WoW or Spoils players then we don't have enough place for everyone.

Eh? What updates? SEED will be coming in April.

Thats all I know. I myself haven't been to Toybox in ages

As for upcoming events and plans, we are still awaiting the response from land in recession, US of A

The weekly Spoils league has been..less than fruitful, truth be told. And we recognise the fact that it is due to the day. So, we might have to canibalise the community to a certain extent.

Those shops have yet to get back to us and I believe the only demo we did was for Toyzbar in Atria.

I will probably get Mr Ong himself registered here but he is pretty active on The Spoils forum itself, just not active here.

As for me, work has overtaken my life so much so that I don't even know what is going on at the shop at the moment. Therefore, updates are less than ideal.

Let me tell the rest to start posting more here
