a)Deduct RM8k for personal usage b)EPF/Life insurance maximum RM6k c)Books - RM1k d)Health/Education insurance - RM3k e)Computer - RM3k (every 3years) tats about it for us singles....  then ur annual income minus all above and the balance will be taxable.... |

@rev - everything calculated by annually..easier..
 ..erm i think after deduct everything u can find if u r left with about RM30k is deductable?...didnt really calculate.... |

i use to give a short talk to my colleagues/friends cos they oso very confused...n i was bugging the tax officer last time...so i know abit..now they have some slight changes..but overall concept stil the same.... |

@kyo - just read the small prints and it mentions newspaper is not allowed...
