Sony is considering making a PSP phone...

nokia gaming has it...just it doesnt named under sony only...but i think sony ericsson will aim for the gaming phone device as well...since its one of the idea to make a phone...lets hope it to happen..

i read about it at STUFF magazine...
They say Sony will most probably released a PSP phone... And they are planning to released one without a UMD slot... Sony is encouraging us to use ISO o_O.... |

I think SE would just release another line to their phones. Like how they did with the cybershot phones and walkman phones.

SE PlayStation phone, thats the way SE makes it. it will not have UMD slot but rather similar to newly released Nokia N8x gaming phones, they probably will build a similar online gaming store like Ngage 2.0

think there will be one, but not sooner, rather than later.. maybe 4-5 years from now we'll be seeing one... cuz now psp already support social communication tech, the skype..

It'll be years before Sony would consider killing its portable machine. Remember that Sony PSP is intended to grab the market in the handheld market previously reigned by Nintendo.
If Sony were to create a handphone that has gaming capability of a PSP, it would not only kill the product, but also the market for UMD disks which includes game developers. Well, thats my opinion anyway.  |
