plenty of 3.2mp or even 2mp tat really makes the 5mp on the g900 a total shame.. and NO i am still comparing HP camera's obviosly not the commercial types.

i rather thy make it 3.2 and still b comparable rather thn 5mp.

jus IMO.

if u guys do a simple search off google.. plenty of consumers complaining about the camera on G900..

another issue.. the sms even whn u've read it. it still doesnt distinguish between an open sms nor a unread one.. if i hv like 20 in a day.. and i read in between.. i hv to scroll to find which one isnt familiar thn only know if i read tat or not..
old phones even can do tat.. geez wats SE thinking man..

...but this G900 surely is really bang for the buck! for being decently capable in all sorts of aspect....reli like muah... lol

about the message thing.... that is damn annoying. but now im using another software called sms and mms diary.... i think thats the name. i dont have the link. but i think it was in the persian forum place that lineage posted a while back. sorry. but if you want it. you gotta read back a few pages or do a search. i forgot the actual address. sorry. 

and i dont even know how to do that.. 
ive tried search on the persian forums but couldnt find any. if someone can link me to a tutorial to reinstall firmware that would be a great help

I was coming to the same conclusion regarding the screen. How easy is it to replace. I have had a price to solve from 'mobile repair center in London of £34.95 + Postage there and back, but don't know whether that is to replace screen or not.

Would like to try the screen replacement if anyone knows of a place to get one from or is Ebay the place.

i still use keypad, imo still hard to beat, esp when in car. dark brown g900 is good looking no doubt. 3.2" 16M will eat ur battery alive, review said watcing movie is the utmost batt killer apps, bear tht in mind. personally, at home, i use stylus most of time to ensure no fingerprint so my G900 is pristine all the time lol. 5mp still sounds better in look, quality wont fall far behind, if not exceed. as most pdafon, camera wont shine at nightshot so dont expect the XM cam to conjure miracle. i dont use 3G, HSDPA, by the time its affordable/and comfortable to use em, id gotten myself a ultra super phone original then possibly half the price of all phones now lol.

SE joined Open Handset Alliance (Android)?? since when?? and what is Open Handset Alliance? might to explain a bit? i read through their website..quite confusing..
btw, i hope SE will change their port for charge and earphone..because it cause problem..use usb like X1 will be better...
once i use touch screen, i love touch screen very much and will not going back for non-touch screen phone..now SE new models seems not very attractive after X1..w595 and t700 although nice, but the video call just can let people see you, but you cannot see people because only 1 camera at the back..
is it possible SE will use symbian S60 to continue their symbian phone? or SE will do only WM and normal phone onwards? who knows??

hey im just wondering if there is a way to set auto profiles. for example...

i have meeting at 4pm-5pm. its in my calender. and so at 4pm my profile switches to silent. and when its 5pm. goes back to normal settings.

my old WM phone had this. i thought it was pretty useful. i mean i have no problems switching to silent. but i always forget to switch it back to normal heheh.

is there anyway to do this? or application for this?

i dunno about filling the memory and lagging because its kinda hard to fill up all the memory. unless you are planning to store tons of music or movies. software files are small so filling up all the memory is difficult. plus are you talking about the phone memory or memory stick?

1. about alarm. to my knowledge most smartphones dont have alarm when the phone is off.
2. battery will last 2-4 days. depending on usage.

dunno why my battery suddenly show 45%, an increase?! i very surprised. ofc, i didnt charge it.
any1 experience tis b4? lol

but sometime i tink , not too reliable. got once, from 14% drop to 7% suddenly. but the 7% lasted half a day at office without calls etc

older phones most recommend to charge ~8hrs, newwer phones ppl claim charge 2-3hrs can d. well i charged ~5hrs mine then.

sigh....im still on the FW 825....rly lazy update....so worried, especially when now all is good....id rather watch heroes than risk complication thru 'improper' self update lol

anyway, i think the independent lock key on the side is just brilliant! love it , no need press 2 keys just to lock/unlock dono other phone got or not. no slide for me. not the kind of fancy guy, im more practical. n this is practical. infact, its safe to say the G900 is a highly practical gadget, , and the size, slurp, its like doin it raw jk. the xm, well....the xm is a phone that is good to be admired and amazed at (thts why this wkend i wan go mobileshop play the 5800xm lol)...if use...idk, cant live without keypads....yeah im tht old n stubbon

hard to type sms. plus got no umphh when always touching the screen. hahah. but the problem wit G900 is that it looks like a normal phone and not a touch screen. so whenever i use normal phones i always pressing the screen. trying to press the buttons. hahahah. this is downside of G900. hahah. it affects my perception of other phones.
