This has to be covered by warranty, whether it's original or AP.Tell them if theres nothing wrong, just replace it

But I guess it's lighter this way. |

I didn't even realize it was a sticker, but that explains it being separate from the screen surface (would've looked better if it was joined, imo)
My only problem with the construction is the circular d-pad ring. The silver paint on it got scratched off after I played too much sonic on it I guess I can get a new keypad, but that doesn't solve the problem. I had the same problem with my SE K500i. The number keys were great, all clear plastic, but the navigation buttons' paint wore off after 3 years of use. This post has been edited by masterzombie: Dec 23 2008, 04:31 PM |

QUOTE(panda-man @ Dec 23 2008, 11:12 PM) what you mean limited functions. well you can click everything on the screen.... i think that is enough... although there is no photo sliding thingy with your finger like iphone. What do you mean? There IS a photo sliding thing. But it only slides one photo at a time. Just click and drag left or right. |

I found this on screen d-pad thing for UIQ...I guess it makes more sense with the P990/P910, because the d-pad is not accessible when its flipped open. |

QUOTE(panda-man @ Dec 25 2008, 01:37 AM) I used a sony clie once, it had one of the best mobile/pda cameras at the time. We have an old sony tv that has been working for 22 years now! And the PS3, well it might not be doing so well in the markets, but I have yet to hear of a failed or malfunctioning unit. That's quality!Sony Ericsson phones...except Symbian, no complaints either (I still remember that old sony slogan "it's a sony") |

Yes, but that review was written in February.
If you update the firmware you shouldn't have problems. I don't know the current price, but if there isn't a big difference between AP and original, i suggest you buy the original one. |

QUOTE(sonyclie77 @ Dec 26 2008, 02:24 AM) My PC Suite suddenly refused to communicate with my G900, and it couldn't detect it. I had the same problem. This is how I solved it:Just upgraded my firmware and I'm unable to sync my contacts back into my G900. Anyone has any solutions? I uninstalled PC suite including mRouter. Deleted all mRouter related keys from the registry. Reinstalled PC suite. Warning: Modifying your registry can screw your computer up. Do it at your own risk. |

QUOTE(panda-man @ Dec 26 2008, 11:21 AM) i finally checked out the on screen keyboard function. haha. so puny. i could still use it pretty well though. quite fast.... but the thing is..... i really love pressing buttons and clicking things. never get that feeling from touch screen phones. thats why i like this phone. touch screen and keypad too. heheh. Same here, its not possible to do anything without looking at the screen all the time on full touch phones. |

Has anyone played Lemmings on this phone? I know the basic idea, that you have to assign duties to them to dig a way out, but how do you do that on the phone. I can select a lemming, but when I click on the job buttons nothing happens? Pandaman, how do you play it?

Hey guys, Opera 9.5 beta is out for UIQ!
So, the G900 has Flash Lite support now...I think? Can anyone check it out? I don't have Wifi or 3G right now. Heres the link: http://www.opera.com/mobile/ Btw it has smooth scrolling and some kind of flick scrolling too. Nice! Added on December 28, 2008, 8:39 pmOk, it's not so new, its from October. QUOTE(ruztynail @ Jan 4 2009, 01:52 AM) does anyone feel tat the camera takes sucky pics.. at 5mp..i think my old k750i at 2mp can take much better pics.. K750i has a Cyber-Shot sensor (hardware).is it firmware?? or hardware? But you can improve your G900's camera quality by reducing the exposure to -1.00 (press up/left when in camera mode). Also make sure resolution is set to highest and quality to finest. |

QUOTE(ruztynail @ Jan 4 2009, 02:18 AM) hmmm... its jus feels weird. a 3 year old phone wit 2mp.. Did you see any sample photos on the net?hope there is some revision to the firmware to make it better.. atleast.. my mum's nokia 3120c also beats this hands down. It may not be the best phone camera, but I've found it to be acceptable. If your phone's camera quality is really bad maybe there's something wrong with it (dirty lens? |
