i dont think there is a way. but i think the light on the side. where the charger is. blinks when you have a missed call or an sms.

well it does work this way. you set it to business mode and it will list a few upcoming things. but technically this is not as effective as other business phones out there. if you are really gonna fill a bunch of stuff on your phone its probably better to buy a higher end phone. or a blackberry. maybe you should check out the xperia.

1. laggy. ok lah. for smart phone its ok. cannot compare to the bigger phones that put faster processors in. but so far i am happy with the phone.
2. hanging. last time my phone hang is i dont remember. so yeah.
3. battery life is around 2-3 days on average usage.

if you want more details me and a bunch of other forumers. recorded all our talktime and all that stuff for battery life a while back for a small test. . probably around page 60 or so. average was around 2-3 days average usage. 4-6 days light usage.

its probably a firmware problem. try to run the update and reinstall the firmware. did you install any strange software?

if its AP. take it back to the shop or sony if you willing to spend money . if its ORI. take it to sony.

this happened a few times to me. i just pull out the card then reinsert it again. then its ok. if it happens a lot i think you should format the memory card.

really. your phone keeps restarting at loading page. or coreplayer keeps restarting. if its your phone then you know what to do.... UPDATE. and reinstall the firmware.

or

you could take the battery out and leave it for a few minutes. make sure the memory is really really cleared.

is this definately caused by the lock-unlock?

how about using your phone for a while without locking it. let the screen go black and wait a while and all that stuff. make sure auto key lock is off though.

i think you got a lemon phone lah. either return it to them or take it to sony for a full checkup.

one of the forumers replaced his screen before. forgot who he was. i think it cost around rm150 or something like that.

i think you should reduce the size of the movie you were watching. cause the display is only like 320x240. so this will really reduce file size and buffer size and probably even look better than shrinking the video on the spot.

... um what is so super about the iphone lock thing anyways. does it just lock/unlock.... i mean.... so much trouble for this software ke.

back light 0% my one can go to 0% . the only thing is.... whats the point. cannot see much at all.

how to change this power saving?
i went into settings>>display>> backlight.

then there is only an option to check.... power save enabled. how to change it like you guys are saying.

from what i could guess is that some dust got into your lens. im not sure how you would clean it. but thats the only explanation i could come up with. i doubt its a software problem. or a hardware problem.

hey im just wondering if there is a way to set auto profiles. for example...

i have meeting at 4pm-5pm. its in my calender. and so at 4pm my profile switches to silent. and when its 5pm. goes back to normal settings.

my old WM phone had this. i thought it was pretty useful. i mean i have no problems switching to silent. but i always forget to switch it back to normal heheh.

is there anyway to do this? or application for this?

yeah lah. this "timed profile" as you put it. is really useful. maybe they will put it in the next update. hehehehe. hopefully they still gonna make some updates.
