got wor, I tried with my G900 wif WIFI. Loading very fast. And surprising, it detected my current area and show by default. but i wonder is there any map pack?

Ermm... wat's wrong with the camera? Guys, try firmware wif AP phone b4? I not dare to update myself. haha...

yup I installed Swiss Manager Pro 1.60, it detects as w960i too. I find it's quite difficult to connect WIFI most of the time. But once i delete the previous profile and scan again it can connect again. But the process is quite time consuming.

And is it possible to check the sms counter?

Finally got back my laptop, will try and install the firmware soon but not sure whether my AP phone can be updated thru SEUS.

sigh, can't update form SEUS, said that no update available. Today some weird stuff happened again. My reception signal is full but i got around 3 hrs that all incoming calls & sms can't reach to my phone but at the moment i can still call other people. I didn't touch any sys task like phone and etc yet it happened. After restarting it's ok already. I felt that this G900 even with full signal, calls and sms will not easily reached to the phone sometimes. Very weird and scary for me.

Don't know why this phone will suddenly not able to receive call even no application been close by the user. People nowadays complaining my phone not able to be called even signal bar is almost full and I was so innocent.

i also don't know. If I use program to close the "phone" application maybe this can happen lar but I didn't so I also don't know why people find difficult to contact me.

yes yes! I forgotten to mention about tat too. I often receive delay sms. I'm using 012 and my signal over here is full. Gosh, I like this phone but as a phone it doesn't serve it's purpose well. I can say that every sms is delayed, the diff is it's delay long or short. But I'm sure it's delayed.

i dun think is sim card problem lar I use my w810i oso no problem. And my area is full signal. But short delay I still ok, dun give me long delay, really frustrating. Anyway to use delivery report with diff sound without install third party software? Guess not. Sigh.

1. Not sure boh cause now the latest firmware is not available for asian G900 yet. However, I'm not sure about SE releases the firmware to asian G900 adi.

2. This one can sure for you. It's not the kind like k800i where it's a xenon flash. G900 one is consider light (can work as torch) but it works like flash while capturing photos. However, when you turn on flash mode, the flash will light up when you focusing the camera. One thing sure really mind you, the flash of G900 is extremely sucks, first, it's not strong enuff. Second, the placing of the LED is not suitable, because the LED is at the right side of the len, so when you take picture with flash, you'll see a white light at the left of your picture. like this,

How to check whether it's Singapore version? Which numbers indicator them? I think mine is Singapore version but I'm not sure. So the language pack for Chinese for this firmware out adi? And do you find any different after updating it?

For the camera flash, it applies to in door with average lightning too. However, the photo is not with me now. U can avoid that if you take picture vertically.

So you didn't use chinese language is it? it's very important for me ^^. If the language pack is not available, hit me till die oso I wont install

lol.... G900 no HSPDA. N82 wins in every aspect compare to G900 except G900 has touchscreen and slimmer lighter. N82 has better camera and xenon flash, GPS, and faster processor (but dunno which one faster), n82 oso has more quality application and games. (becoz of symbian v3)

And G900 is not exactly 2.4inches, it's about 2.3 ++ only.

Mine at first super laggy and wifi sometimes will auto restart phone. However these can be fix by master reseting it yourself ^^ but preinstall content will be gone but not those manufacturer install content coz those is in ur rom.

Sigh...yesterday I played with my fren's n82. And I started to be regret. n82 is so much faster and has better screen than G900. Gosh.... n82 is one of my choice b4 that but at last I chose G900 because n82 is bulkier but yesterday when I hold it and feel it, it was different from what I imagine, I even put beside my G900 and compare, n82 size is acceptable. Sigh....

again, comparing multitasking, wifi connectivity, photo viewing, n82 is insanely faster than G900..... No offense but this is really what I felt.

Few days back I was planning to change my G900 to n82. My fren quoted me to topup RM450. Then I go ask the shop that sold me the hp, I told them I'm not satisfy with the phone and I want to change to n82 and the sales person quoted me to topup RM690. WTF... then I canceled the plan since my budget is RM300.

After that, I go download opera mini. And u know wat? Opera mini is the best browser for G900. It's super fast, and got overview mode, surfing is as fast as n82. Opera mini has pre render for famous website in their server, so it's faster compare to other browser. Even so, it's fast and not lag for those non famous as well. Seriously, recommending Opera Mini. ^^

No offense and not bashing the phone. Sorry. I have switched to n82. ^^

mostly themes can be used in P1i can be use in G900 too. about the UIQ3.0 a or b really dunno lol.

lol.. welcome. Anyway, I was accidentally click the wrong thread to G900 and answered ur question. I was switched from G900 few weeks ago to nokia n82. Well, hope u guys enjoy ur G900.

dude you need to hack it before u can access the system files, it'll be dangerous if manufacturer allows those file to be easily access and modify ^^. Something to do with "CapOff".
