Format Factory is another choice too, but myself I'd prefer Any Video Converter. Nice and simple.

It's possible to update your firmware provided you re-flash it. And mostly it fixes some bugs occurring in the phone.
As for the AP set, it can come from anywhere not only from Singapore.

Bro SoldierWar, to be honest hor, the picture in comparison to K800i which I have currently and my sister's G900, I have to say that K800i quality is much better than G900. Even though it's a 5MP phone but I just don't like the result of it.
