Then what about sub woofer ?  hmm.gif
By the way did i tell you my av receiver was finally setup to my S750 creative gigaworks speakers and sub woofer in a 5.1 setup.

The audio performance has drastically increased !!! I am hoping to be impressed once i upgrade the speakers biggrin.gif

ha,

once u upgrade ur speakers, it will smoke ur creative speakers to downtown. after that u could throw it away smile.gif

hm i do recommend MS carnival 9 sub. u could get it around 1k-1.2k. quite impressive sub. can go as low as 24Hz. already makes my house shakes. smile.gif

i guess that subs/LFE (or speakers, settings, output sound) is personal preference lah smile.gif when there is a lot of LFE activity, i prefer deep bass. (this is what i meant for 'house shakes')

and 24Hz sub deliver that to me. of course if i have moolah, i'll definitely go for deeper LFE such as Velodyne DD-16/18

Do you think if i get the following

RM3k only for 5 speakers - one pair BR2, one BRLCR and one pair BRFX.

Should i stick to the MA woofer, or get the carnival ?
Personally i like the sub woofer shake the entire house down, but the neighbours would get pissed. Is the sub woofer manageable by turning down bass ?  hmm.gif
Megatron - What you mean by AMP click ur speakers ??
I one time switched to a video source and the speakers were a bit loud, so it started squeling, until i turned them down to an acceptable volume. Is that what you mean't ?  hmm.gif

go audition yourself. easy smile.gif audio = personal. different ppl, different taste.

u need to get yourself to familiarize with setting-up your avr & speakers. the simplest way is to do YPAO calibration on your 663. plug in the supplied mic and ieneble the auto calib. then sit back.

Hehe,
I tried using the YPAO mic auto setup but don't know how.

When i click test start and it count downs, i heard nothing and it doesn't seem to do anything. The control was set to AMP so not sure what i missed out biggrin.gif

Any ideas ?

really?

usually after enable the auto calibration, sounds (poping, pink noise) will come out from your speaker. read the manual lah smile.gif
