Isn't the engineer a camping class? hmm.gif  I dunno I'm new to the game so its my initial observation. I'm sure it could be used offensively...but mostly engineers camp.

I just generally find other servers with ping sub 100...Its good enough...Cant wait for the servers to have a free slot.
*
Engineers have many ways to go about. You can be defensive, but that doesn't mean you have to stick behind you sentry and keep hitting it. In fact, engineers that do that are bound to die.

Offensive engineers have the most fun, being in the front lines resupplying your team mates and trying to move up your sentry as well as your teleporters. Now thats where the rush is. Thats where you feel that you are actually helping the team in terms of firepower and support. One of the best moments for an engi is slipping into the enemy stronghold and building your exit teleporter there.

Classic.

Hi guys. just browsed through a couple of reviews of TF:2 on the net, and it kinda hooked me on. so I'm just here to ask you guys a few questions.

1.Are the servers stable? Are there dedicated servers for Msians or something? I know there is a LYN clan but do we have a server for our nation?
2.Does it come seperately? and how much? Cause honestly I won't be playing the games bundled in Orange Box.
3. Is there like an offline mode? With bots and all.. cause if I won't be able to get through the servers, I would at least like something to do as a past time.

Yeah so I hope you guys can help me out. Thanks!
*
1. Servers are stable. Multiple local servers, if not local then they are in SG which translates to good ping as well.

2. Can be purchased seperatly via steam for USD20 but you will need a paypal account to pay for the purchase.

3. No offline mode. No bots. Wont be hard to find servers mate. At nite maybe have to wait 5 mins or so for a server.

See you in game mate.

What comes in the box? where is the nearest server to Malaysia by the way? hows the ping response like? Thanks guys, doing some background before putting my money down for the game...
*
You obviously are not doing your background as someone just asked these sort of questions just a few post away from yours. Reading abit here helps mate.

Well, the closest servers are Starhub and E-club servers. They have the lowest pings.
And our LYN server is BolehVPN, but it only has people during certain days of the week at night
*
Starhub would have more casual players and e club will have abit more serious players.

When to hantar the register form ?....I got mine ready edi.

Btw..........What do they mean by abusing taunt ?
*
Means using the taunt when people are shooting you. There have been a few cases before when I was unable to damage someone using taunt because of the messed up hit boxes.

Btw. Hope last nite session was useful for those that attended. From now on its just practice and practice for those tactics till it becomes second nature.

You will find some of these tactics usefull for all other online fps games.

From my limited knowledge, uninstalling steam will not effect any of your games. Once steam connects, it will scan your hard drives for any games that can be linked to steam and auto add them.

So no worries mate.

Some of the Aussie, Japan and HK servers have that. No worries. Just choose another server man. Small problem.

As mentioned in earlier post, you can try out e club servers.

I think the word "challenge" is a rather strong word. Perhaps they wanted to scrim with lynn would have been better. Who are they ? All from a clan or like a mixture of people. Maybe they will be competing in Subang ?

And to think I missed you lot by a couple of hours at Subang Parade. Thank God haha. Otherwise my picture will be up there in the forums as well.

Couple of more days to get our training and formations right before the tournament guys. Over the past few days I think team B has gotten stronger tactically and you guys now know how to defend better now. Having said that, I still think team B lacks attacking coordination. Try and get that part up asap.

Another note : Anyone that doesn't have a mic yet, pls get one before the tourney, at least a RM30+ one. We don't want heavy static in the background. Feels like we are talking to a chopper pilot during the NAM war at times.

Fruitloops out.

Team B against team A....coz team A are sadistic bastards who wants to prove their machoness by owning team B
*
I'm sure you are kidding are't you ? This training is specially designed to train us all, A and B. Like I said, team B you are improving, and even managed to win one of the rounds. Just have more coordination on your attacks. Your defending so far is ok. But can also be improved.

Team A too hasn't got the chemistry quite right yet.

Take every death, every round as a lesson and reflect on that.
