QUOTE(Prawninator @ May 12 2008, 06:21 PM) Look on Youtube, there's actually a video on how to play a spy. Even comes with tips and tricks, what to and not to do as well True and false. Youtube will teach you the basics la. But there are different methods and tactics for different maps. Even when to cloak or uncloak and when to "miggle" with the enemy depends on many factors. Comes with practice, but more importantly, a spy must know the strength and weakness of every class to exploit them. |

QUOTE(Jas2davir @ May 14 2008, 01:20 AM) sigh spys are so hard for me T+T i play as engie top kills and top score i play spy last or 2nd last next to snipers in gold rush! Anyone can play engi dude. Just build a sentry at the right place and maintain it as best as you can. If you're getting top score as engi then I suppose the other team are just charging into your sentry ?This post has been edited by Hive: May 14 2008, 09:39 AM |

QUOTE(Reuben @ May 16 2008, 08:00 PM) Somehow wrong way to go about it Well spoken. Couldn't have said it better. If I may say, and it is for the better of lynn++, is that your members must learn to play more scrim. I think alot of members here do not know timing, teamwork and coordination.I think it's important to play against good players to improve rather than being jaguh kampung. Sure it is demoralizing to be beaten soundly by a much better team but those two scrims I played did educate me a lot as well about how proper coordination and strategy can make such a huge difference even if individual skill is around the same. But then again I'm just a casual player and if this competition is meant to be for casual people than yeah...pro clans should not be a part of that. As far as I can see, LYN++ has a long way off from becoming a pro clan but that doesn't mean we should hope no strong players come along to play with us ;P Now in the gamesync match that S'un are in, I've learened that what ever you feel in scrim, take that 10 fold and then you know what a league match is about. My first suggestion is that after your training, open a chat room, invite the ones that participated and talk about what happened. Who did what why, everyone takes turn to explain their actions, then take turns to vote your mvp (not based on score please) and the worse player (again not based on score). Try out step one first. When you feel ready, you can always invite some clans to scrim with you. |

QUOTE(plankton @ May 23 2008, 04:35 PM) hows the TF2 scene nowadays? r there usually a lot of players and servers online? if theres a lot of TF2 activity im thinking of buying TF2 and joining u guys. been playing CS:S for quite some time now. want to find another game to play online. TF2 has a lot more teamwork then cs, and I can assure you that there is no such thing as camping in cs. Even the snipers dont camp. Get TF2 mate, you won't regret it.best option for me would be to buy it off steam, 19.99 (~rm65) through paypal. anyone have other suggestions? dont need the orange box though Oh yeah, at nite, servers are full house. |
