How is the environment there compared to Malaysia?
What about living expenses?
Is mandarin a must?
How good are their universities compared to those in UK, Australia and Singapore?
1) Faster pace, a more serious and definitely better learning environment compare to Malaysia
2) Very high to Malaysians (HKD60000 equivalent to around RM30000+/- ) per academic year ( if top up another rm10-20k we can get a reknown aus/Uk cert locally), hostel fee is charge daily (HKD 60-80 daily), food is definitely more expensive (prepare to spend around HKD100 daily on food if u eat outside)
3) english is used if u are in higher education academy
4) most of them are pretty good, HKU is top 20 just below NTU (or NUS, cant remember), City U is within top 100 (around 60 IIRC), both UST and Baptisy U is highly rated also

i have studied at City U for a semester (semester exchange), i would just it is a pretty good environment to study and if u r financially supported pls apply for it
but places are as limited as local U, because there are quite a number of students from mainland and their standard is very high
