@kick-a-poo, If ur travelling a lot, go for the MB - i know a lot of Creative Directors who uses an MB instead of an MBP as they prefer some more light weight. However, if u prefer a 15.4" screen to work with, the MBP is the one to go for. I also been told the MB is quite heavy for a 13.3" - at about 2.1kg or so, so it's really a 'lil' heavier that's all - but trust me.. ur going to feel the difference

@damagedigital, Sometimes it's not the budget, it's the need.

@kick-a-poo, Thankfully I don't carry 2 laptops with me - I have the MBP and carry it with me most of the time; am getting pretty much fed up with its weight; bought a backpack to help with the backaches *grins* and i seriously think twice before taking it anywhere with me; it's not what i'll consider portable but i wanted a 15.4" screen so it wasn't a big battle between the MBP and the MB If U think the MB is sufficient for ur usage, then go with it - save the $ and get AppleCare or a boost in RAM @Reimao, If u can't stand not having ur iMac with u when u return to KK for holidays, get an iMac. If u travel constantly and need to have ur laptop with u at all times then get one that's portable.

@Reimao, Your guess is as good as mine on what Apple might be offering in the upcoming PC Fair. However, other than the usual freebies, i don't think Apple gives a system upgrade
