I'm in my first year. Will only be using a laptop in 3rd year (for class)

My budget is 8000rm. Should I buy it now or next year? WHen will be a better buy or it won't be much different?

How much different will it make if I want to buy a pretty high end laptop early next year (2009) or the year after (2010)?

I'm an architecture student and my budget will be around 8k.

Early next year? depends where are you using, with that kind of budget? well, you can have some Precision range, and get some docking accessories biggrin.gif

by the way, if you want to get high end laptop for study uses, depends, well, you can opt for some Toughbook range,

What's toughbook range? I was thinking of precision range. I just want a superb graphic card and RAM biggrin.gif

Will it be smarter to wait until I reallllllllyyyyy need to use it (that's in 2010)? Or I can just buy it now and it won't make any difference?
