QUOTE(bmd @ Aug 12 2008, 10:21 PM) since u alraedy got those 2 models in mind then what is ur problem actually? if u want money's worth and very good specs then get the acer lar... extend the warranty until 3 years... dont listen to ppl say acer not good. of coz got many faulty cases but who say other brand no fault????? if take care properly then where got problem??? Ya.Totally agree with you. When you buy acer , you just extend warranty and those warranty is very cheap only depend on the model types.Every brand of laptop will definitely has its own defective.Thats why the warranty serve this purpose for.DELL provides better service than other to avoid any complaint.IF DELL do not provide good services, i think the case will be like ppl complaining acer.other models is asus F8Vr and Asus M51.... if not try check out sony Vaio FW and SR... |

here is the advice for laptop user. Before buying laptop , try to learn how to take care laptop and what should not happen to laptop like put your laptop on bed will block the ventilation and in the end fry up your mobo. So,in order to make sure your laptop 100 % in good condition ,you should take care it well and if it spoil due to accident which can't avoid, at least we did our best to protect it,no regret though.

QUOTE(jakuraz @ Oct 19 2008, 08:56 PM) I need some recommendations. any preferable brand???I am buying a laptop in 3 weeks. Characteristics: 1) For multi-tasking (e.g: photoshopping while playing RO2) 2) For gaming (high graphics games e.g: Crysis,RO2) 3) Size: I don't care much. (small laptops easier to be carried, large laptops easier to be used) 4) Price range around RM3k (more or less) Edit: I don't mind if the laptop is freeDOS.Now everyone know how to format a pc. *question: can a latop be upgraded? like the RAM,can i ugrade it later on? |
