Hello. I will probably be going overseas next year for further studies. Although a bit early. But i would like to plan to get a laptop before i go. So here are what i probably want.

1. Brand: Anything but Acer. But i was thinking along the lines of Sony, Dell or HP. But other noteworthy brands are possible
2. Budget: Between 4K-5K
3. Specs: Well, was hoping to get a moderate to high end gaming laptop. Other must haves are at least 180GB hard disk space. And 4GB ram. A good graphics card. That should be about it.
4. Size: I dont really know how to define this. I guess i'll define by the screen size. 15" or bigger, but no larger than 17". Also, i dont want it to be anything less than 15".

Umm. Anyone know how much the Asus G70 and G50 cost?

5k-7k is for the G50 or the G70?

Hmm. Are alienware laptops worth the money?
