QUOTE(small-jeff @ Feb 28 2008, 04:57 PM) micro? how does your equity become $25.9K? Well that guy must be out of his mind by saying inflation is under control. High oil price + lower USD = massive inflation. Even children also know this. he cant hide the inflationary data of USA for long. Sooner or later this inflation will emerge. The same goes to ECB, months ago they dare to keep shouting about possible rate hike. Now they are playing rate hold, people are looking weather ECB will rate cut or not. I would at this rate the euro go, they will force to cut sooner or later. Lets not forget the major economy country like German, France, Netherland, Italy are either export oriented country or tourism oriented. Strong euro is seriously hurting them.Added on February 28, 2008, 4:59 pmanyway..bout EU, just after the announcement by bernanke, i think the pair shot up to about 100 pips...anyone managed to make profit from the news? |

just a little thought sharing as a newbie to forex:
Fundamental - long swing; suitable for weekly, monthly. High capital to avoid margin call. Technical - short term; suitable for 15mins, 1 hour, 4 hours. Low capital; 30pips Stop/Loss not really that good. Risk to news release trades. Fundamental + Technical - Mid range capital. Suitable for 1 hour, daily. I'd prefer this one. Next most useful indicator: WMA 5 WMA 20 WMA 100 Weighted Moving Average is more responsive than Exponential Moving Average. Good indication on price rebounce, and timing to enter/exit trade based on position of WMA 100 to that of WMA 5, WMA 20 and price. |

for movin average, i use it as support n resistance... u hav to trial n error each currency coz every1 of it has diffrent character... moreover, d MA shud b able to show it really works as support n resistance for few time period... anyway, 200MA still is d main MA either for those FA'er or TA'er jus my 2 cents... MA= moving average... some people use at as entry point... some people use it as support n resistance... n some use it as gaugin d stock / that currency sentiment This post has been edited by low yat 82: Feb 29 2008, 12:13 AM |
