I'm using iPhone 8GB... really worth it for watching TV series and some video podcasts. My nano 8GB is mainly for music.
With DiGi unlimited EDGE, I can go online anywhere easily...
However, if u not a tech-savvy person... don't buy an iPhone because 99% chance u will brick it if not careful - like accidentally updating the firmware to 1.1.3 for example.

Yeah, another word of advice. Don't just head for either one or both of these 2 items just because of the cool factor. You'll regret it, bad Learn up on what you need to on using and navigating through the various things you can do with the device, and make you by the time you do get one that you're already familiar beyond anything else. The iPhone/iTouch was indeed designed for simplicity, like all other Apple products, but because we're unauthorized users who depend on jailbreaks and unlocks to get the thing working, don't get too confident that it'll work out THAT easily. Depends on your need. If it's just music, thenitouch would be fine. If you want connectivity, then get the iphone. After using the SHuffle for my daily runs, I like the Apple sound. I just got my Iphone tonite, already amazed by its coolness and features, especially the shaking/trembling icons of 1.1.3.........

I don't know bout you but I'm getting the iPod Touch. I already got a phone so might as well get an iPhone without the phone. Since the design about the same, people will think you are having the iPhone if coolness is what you're going for.

Different people, different priorities. When it comes to a comparison between these 2 products, I seriously doubt money is ever the first priority. It's either the end-user's requirement or preference in terms of the cool factor...... Some would prefer spending an extra buck for a 2-in-1 device, despite already having a potable music player, some on the other hand prefer dedicated devices for each purpose....
