i think you no need to flash to newer bios as the default bios can take any C2D/C2Q proc.

if you getting E8400, then you can flash it to the latest bios, as i'm also using it and was ok.

by the way, i'm using winflash flash the bios, damn scary as the progress bar showing 4% for over 1minute before
it jump into "flash complete" screen. feeeeewwwwwwwww     that was close!!!!!!!!!!!

this mobo got large vdrop and vdroop...

i think its apply to quad proc..dual proc just a lilttle..coz i got quite high one

yup, very little vdrop (reading between bios & windows, 0.01v) on dualcore, and no vdroop during load and idle.

hehe sorry for late reply as i abit bz lately..btw regardin my proc u ask wheter if degrade or not,im not sure coz got sum hardware changes..but i still manage to do 4ghz at 1.26v compare b4 i manage to hv it on 1.248v myb later i'll try it out back with smae hardware as previous one n c how izzit

yeah i also think the vdrop coz by my psu..coz i didnt try run it yet with my OP750 jus using strider 400w now..erm mine not too serius vdrop..its around 0.01 to 0.03v

i just got new mobo yesterday.. today i try to to oc a bit.. just 'main2' since i dunno anything about how to clock intel proc and still dunno lots of the function inside the genie.. now only running at 333x8 e2160 ddr400.. still in burning process..  still dunno wat my team elite 2 x 1 gb ram capable to do..

i wan to know wat is the vco divider for.. can anyone enlighten me..? or any link for this mobo..?

I got to know that VTT more than 1.4v is not suitable for 45nm proc. Is it true??
