i forgotten i read from where already saying that 45c above on NB will cause instability... is that true?  notworthy.gif
*
i dont think its true, i can pass memtest windows, prime95 wat ever test and others and so on with NB above 45c, around 49c - 50c like tht...

hmm...me too...just that i sometimes worry that this is actually one of the factor that can lead to instability...seems like i got confirmation now... btw, UT punya NB still as hot as DK although have the "thermalright" cooler?
*
the thermalright heatpipe just same la, but i do increase my vNB to 1.37v... so mayb the temp rises... my place hot like hell in the noon, cyberjaya freaking hot tis few days... night time wil be cooler around 41-43c, day time 45-48c depends...

QUOTE(StratOS @ May 7 2008, 11:09 PM)
i think will be unstable a bit gua.. coz i OC my proc ar 445X9 also not stable.. NB temp at 45/46C.. increase voltage still same.. hmm..

@tkh_1001.. u using wut FSB X Multiplier.. wuts ur vcore for proc..?
*
i can get mine stable, try adjust ur NB GTL, last time i also cant get my 445*9 stable no matter wat vcore, after slight adjusting my NB GTL, CPU GTL, i able to get 445*9 stable with 1.37vNB and 1.3375vcore...

just get tis info from gsan and tried it, all UT user should disable the vdrop control option in bios, after i disabling it, my vcore reading seems more less ripple and i can run my proc with lower vcore settings in bios...

btw, anyone DK P35 user running 500fsb with 1:1 (cpu/ram) ? did you experience double post? and how the double post look like?
*
u mean dual start after we unplug or switch off the psu... mobo not on standby then when start the pc it will on then off before turning on again? i also getting tis problem, i heard only OC'ed proc will happens.. if stock FSB then it wont happen....

IIRC not all q6600 can hit 3.6ghz....but u may try to increase more vcore n see how it goes....the safe max vcore shud be around 1.5v......

if u want to set to 1:1 just select the 333/667 option....

the 333/800 is for 5:6 ratio.....
*
u might need to tweak the vtt voltage, NB voltage and GTL settings for quad core in order to get higher FSB to achieve higher clock...

I'm running 507fsb with voltage NB @ 1.37v  laugh.gif

i think its harder for quad core to reach such fsb with low vNB...
