QUOTE(tkh_1001 @ Jun 15 2008, 12:24 PM) erm...up vcore a notch? yeah. the NB cooler is seriously too tall. it's conflicting with my 3rd party cooler. using it n liking it so far...have a lot of tweaking options compared to gigabyte n can do very high fsb too.... the down side might be the nb cooler quite high and that sometimes can conflict with some 3rd party cpu cooler...then u will not have tweaking software in windows like EASYTUNE 5 for this mobo....but u can download some software like SETFSB to tweak.... can't seem to get the internet working properly though. |

QUOTE(tkh_1001 @ Jun 15 2008, 06:22 PM) hmm...mount it the cpu cooler another way oso cant? that's the problem. now have to mount it the other way, end up fan blowing perpendicular to what i wanted. hmm....not much idea.... but can i ask? ur SB is 1.75v by default? i macam got read somewhere if more than 1.7v on SB can lead to degradation for 65nm la...not sure for 45nm correct me if wrong no choice i guess, that's a big a$$ NB heatsink. |

QUOTE(overclockalbert @ Jun 15 2008, 11:13 PM) just change the god damn stock NB cooler. i think i should. but the problem is that if i were to send the MB for RMA, there's a stupid sticker on the NB heatsink and the motherboard which reads, "RMA will be void if sticker is removed". your NB chipset will have a better live with 3rd party chipset cooler. my strong suggest, get the HR-05 sli. instant drop of 10C after install, and it's in passive mode. btw, @pWs, can have a screenshot of your CPU_z , i think it will help's you alot , and we also will have better understand of whats going on. rgds, albert |

QUOTE(phunkydude @ Jun 17 2008, 01:38 AM) viper's sounds like software issue? yo phunky.. i'm not sure. it could probably be. but i doubt so. this copy of Windows has treated me well on my last mobo. winxp sp3? while bro -pws-'s , really no idea.. lolzz could be hardware synergy since he already tried many many ways to troubleshoot it already.. still no clue on wat causing it only whenever i start IE, then the BSOD will come along. and the worst part is, it won't freeze on the BSOD, my PC'll just restart. so i can't even read the BSOD properly. QUOTE(sub_noob @ Jun 17 2008, 02:26 AM) Try update the driver to the latest from manufacturer site.. I got problem last time with audio driver they provide.. i go get the latest driver and problem solve.. ah alright. will get myself new network drivers from their website. ; |

QUOTE(zuhair @ Jul 4 2008, 07:54 PM) lo viper, igot the same problem as yours, BSOD too fast. reformat and install driver one by one and restart. finally nailed it down to creative driver. now, i am just running the onboard audio instead of xtreme gamer. lol I still have no idea what was wrong with mine. But I did a full reformat anyway. Your PC fully up and running well already? |
