Wanna ask.. can scratched and stained tiles be cleaned and polished? if can't how much is the cost psf including worksmanship to install normal standard tiles? Just need an estimate..

guys..how much do you think the below will cost (tot of adding/renovating my existing condo) ?

- change the toilet bowl & sink (guess have to change the tiles also, unless can find the same tiles)
- break the wall (quite tiny) between the wet & dry kitchen
- extend the kitchen cabinet to the wet kitchen
- change 3 rooms door (coz i've installed timber flooring for the rooms and the door doesnt balance anymore)
- paint the whole house

btw, my unit is only 987sq ft..

that depends on what size of tiles is your quotation referring to.  Generally labour for laying 2x2 will be more expensive than 1x2 or 1x1 ..
assuming a 1x2 homo tiles a piece that i purchased is RM8.00.  Area of 35x38=1330sf.  1330 sf / 2' = 665 so u need 665pc x RM8 = RM5320.

RM11500 - RM5320 = Balance of RM6180.  Divide this by 1330sf =RM4.6 labour for laying 1x2 tiles.    SO, is this reasonable?

hi guys,would like to ask for opinion on kitchen cabinet.I got few quotation from the kc contractor,let me jus list 2 quote.
1. 14ft wall unit up to celling,11ft base unit,20ft counter top granite black,3g glass as door,arcaly as end panel,1 whole cabinet for build in oven,above fridge got 2 doors. rm15500
2. same as above measurement and materials but doors n end panel is arcaly. rm16500

just wan to ask which is better,3g glass or arcaly?both also recommend their own product is better then each other..

Another things is about wardrobe,I got quote 13ft width,9ft height until celing,walkin style with 3pc 4ft doors,3 drawer,chipboard(is chip board also call melamine?) all cost me rm4k,is that worth? pls advise..tq

Is it normal for contractor to charge based on the area size, and multiply by the type of tiles (1x1 or 2x1, or 2x2) chosen or is it a daylight robbery?

I am doing my budgetary cost for my house renovation at puchong.
Appreciate if anyone can quote me as below,

1. Hack the wall of ground floor toilet at A position and move toilet to B position. Redo new tiles for toilet at position B.
    (including moving basin and toilet seat)
2.  Shift door as per attachment.
3.  Window at origin location B shift to A location as toilet no need to have window.
4. Plaster ceiling for whole house. Flat type for all except double layer at living room.
