well, marble gives your house the hotel effect (some say more class) and if you are lucky, you may get marble as cheap as RM5/sqft labour maybe about RM3.50 - 4.50 depending on floor or wall. If you take that, tiling comes up to almost the same price. However, its up to you on what you like!

for the roof tiles, they are quite old, about 30+ years, thats why i think i may need to change them. based the price provided, i guess it should set me back at about 2-4K on the roof tiles alone
