ALWAYS get a copy of their ic. Write a simple one-page contract. Include
1. Buyer / Seller full name and IC
2. Scope of Work
3. Amount
4. Timing.
Both parties to sign off. Make sure you keep the original.
Everytime payment is made, make the receiver sign off.
Sounds troublesome but if you get scammed then you'll really thank me.
