Hi All,
i'm planning to renovate my double storey terrace house in penang. I have a few questions to ask anyone out there before i embark on this journey!!
1. Is it possible to convert the original wooden floor of the 2nd floor to concrete? FYI the ground floor is concrete. This is an old terrace house so 2nd floor is timber.. creeks when walked on,so quite errie at nite!!
2. any other ideas to improve the "creeking" sound, lets say if converting to concrete is an absolute NO NO.. any structural engineers out there ?.. please give your suggestion!!

3. i would like to add an additional "3rd floor". is this possible??

4. any1 out there can share their tots into my "renovation journey"... would appreciate any comments regarding costs, contractor recommendation, materials etc.!!
