Before proceeding, ensure that what type of melamine wood their are using, ask them the thickness, what composite is used in the wood, water resistant, heat capacity, is it termite proof, is it fungus proof.

It may be a lot to ask, this base on my past experience, in the market there is a lot of type of melamine wood. Some looks good but may not survive long enough.
