guys why when i refresh sources i cant find tweaks 1.1.2 and cant find octoprep.I want to upgrade to 1.1.2.Please advice

as far as i know, with BL 4.6 and firmware 1.1.3, you cannot get the locate function of googlemaps to work. googlemaps will not locate you because the baseband 04.03.13_G is downgraded to 04.02.13_G when you unlock ur iphone with BL 4.6. this is what happen to my phone bcoz mine is also BL 4.6, 1.1.2 OTB..

but if you got BL 3.9, the baseband will be the latest one which is 04.03.13_G bcoz the unlocking tools can unlock iphone with BL 3.9 without downgrading the baseband to 04.02.13_G, so googlemaps will work properly. that's why zibri just come out with the latest ziphone version 2.1 which can downgrade the bootloader from 4.6 to 3.9, so that after unlocking the phone, all of the 1.1.3 functions will work properly...

but this is not a big problem since we still got some apps like "locate me" or "navizon gps"...

Okie here my problem.. I updated my otb 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 and now i wan to restore it back to 1.1.2 what is the step to perform by using itunes restore mode? What shud i dl? The 1.1.2 restore file to itunes folder? Sifu sifu out there pls help me out.. Thx you very much!

u are now in the latest firmware of iPhone which is 1.1.3...it's like a new version of operating system...that's why some of apps didn't work..it is just because of the compatibility issue...before u install, just tap "more info" button, and read wether it is compatible with 1.1.3 or not..

i can confirm that iAthan, SMSD and iSMS don't work with 1.1.3...but in 1.1.3, you can sms multiple people, so no need to install SMSD or iSMS anymore...

you don't notice the different, just tap and hold any icon in home screen for about 2 to 3 secs, ur icon will start to jiggle and now you can arrange ur icons freely...no need to use customize anymore...

if you have lyrics for some songs in your itunes, just sync the songs to ur iphone, and when u listen to the song, in the vertical mode, tap the screen and the lyrics will appear..go discover your iPhone...it has a lot more to offer...

i did notice some differences.. i'm quite upset with the SMS.  shoold have features like forwarding, view sms inbox , outbox, sent bla...
and worse thing.. smsd or weitool cannot work.

B4 i run iphuc shud i plug in my iphone to com 1st or unplug it?

1st make sure u have prepared the firmware 1.1.2 file, iBrickr 0.91 and also the this iPHUC tool:

first, connect the iPhone to computer, start iPHUC package, run the commands like stated in its readme. and then iTunes will tell that it detected the phone in restore mode, and the system tray will show some popups (Apple DFU, iBoot, etc etc).

ok if u want to do old jailbreak then Shift + Restore and locate the 1.1.1 firmware file. wait until it is done. if it says error 1xxx then boot it using just iBrickr. jailbreak it, oktoprep it, and then update it to 1.1.2 in iTunes (Shift + Update), and then run Jailbreak 1.1.2 java file. that's all. oww...then install GUnlock and run it to unlock your sim.

if u wanna ziphone method, just Shift + Restore and locate 1.1.2. Then run ziphone. that's all.

^ Sigh.. ok. Looks like the dreaded Maxis "Call Failed" is back again. Very annoying. Sometimes takes about 2 tries to successfully place a call.

Um for the call fail issue,

everyone's talking about this.

As you can see, it seems to be so in other countries,

as long as you are not in the 4 carriers of the 4 countries which are exclusively selling iPhone,

it happens =(

but sometimes i still manage to make a call on the 1st time without any issue,

haha ... eating at carls jr now while stealing wifi from nandos. Kekekeke. BTW problem with call failed happen frequently on maxis. Even using other phone oso i got call failed on maxis. U dont hear people on digi or celcom complaining. Maxis network sudah jem la.

1.1.3 oledi ready for 3rd party app. Thats why app now found in mobile folder. Nikita oso part of it. Dats why they say last time nate jb breaks nikita and cant use for official apps. Nikita use to varify if its an approve app o not. Apps run in a 'sandbox' condition in mobile folder which is a control environment.

I install a lot of apps and do heavy modding on my phone and never encounter any hangs dat need reboot or anything.

In your Advanced options for your Gmail account, disable Recent mode.
