change your sim card.

i used to encounter this very similar problem with my previous phone; the blackberry pearl. from my own personal observation - i usually park my car at the same spot in the basement whilst waiting for my ex gf to come down. when i was using the old hotlink prepaid sim card, there was virtually no signal. but when i switched to contract, the signal is satisfactory. as far i'm concerned, the signal strength is pretty much the same with my iphone.

The SIM replacement should solve your problem. Unless, of course, your clothing is made of radio-wave deflective material... Aluminum foil, perhaps? laugh.gif laugh.gif Normal clothing should have near zero effect on phone signals...

Any luck so far, hussain? It'd be really weird if even a brand new SIM had the same problem....
