Yes address is needed in most cases, in future appointing forwarding agents, signing up other facilities will require a chop with address in. For me I run multiple businesses from the same address, so I have one chop for the company name, then another chop just the address .... that way I don't make too many stamps ....you will also need to create letter heads etc.
if you are home based but do not want to use home address, then you can rent the address from some specialty shop who provide this kind of service. Some are really high class and standard near KLCC.
