sometimes I'll leave it on for 24 hrs or more -if downloading demo- n sometimes , I play straight 5-6 hrs- so far so good. mine is Elite Zephyr- date of manufacturing -27-07-07

I put it horizontally as recommended by most of gamers...I think its better for me...don't know about other ppl...

but if you leave it on (without running the DVDs), there is still graphics on the TV, right? so the graphics chip will still be 'running', how to cool down? or running less power, so less heat izzit???? rclxub.gif

as to yr question about horizontal vs. vertical, majority says horizontal better. i think the main reason is the DVD reading le... but even though hori, better you raise it up (without covering the bottom ventilation holes) so that got extra ventilation from the bottom. makes the xbox kentut the heat easier thumbup.gif

yaya...i think graphic chip will cool down bit coz i think the principle just like computer graphic card,although ur comp running but without running game with high graphic the heat generate will be less.or u run low end game with not nice graphic the card will also generate less heat.agree?? hmm.gif
