what exactly do you mean by 'worth it'
do u mean that the fuel u save will offset the cost of the filter? (taking into account the cost of ori filters that would have been consumed in the same time?)
assuming this is the case, how many km will it take to break even and conversely, how long can the filter itself last before it will need to be changed?
how often do we need to re-oil?

worth it in the sense of the improvements gained such as better low end torque.. save fuel a lil.. lifelong usage(unless u change ur ride)..
clean n reoil every 20000km or depends on the environment condition..

btw if u think till tat way den u should stick to normal disposable air filter..

yeap...thats y im considering
basically, it all boils down to total ownership cost
minimizing that is the name of the game
if adding in an expensive filter increases the total cost because the savings on fuel economy doesnt at the very least break even, then i dont see a point
im not competing in any race so performance is secondary
economy should always be number 1 on a personal car driver's list

just my two cents innocent.gif

hmm.gif i would imagine so...
but how does your member know this?
this is a very subjective claim as the car does not have a flow meter for it's air intake
and most importantly, what is the effect on the fc?
and if there is, by what margin?
and if that is known, how was it calculated?
(p.s. the well known phrase of "rm50 can go X kilometers" does not count as this would merely b an estimation and not a mathematically derived value)
