actually I would prefer Aspire One compared to the 901 coz of the keyboard size... but the down side of the Aspire One is due to the fact that the batt cant last long .... wat a waste

we do not have cash and carry service, we are not targeted on retail business model...actually.

901 ? personally i GUESS middle of augst perhaps? bcoz distributor have no idea at all either.

Question about the Eee PC 900.
1. The 1.8" 30GB hard disk is your own mod or by ASUS? Does the warranty cover the hard disk?
2. Is the hard disk slow compare to the SSD model?
3. Any statistic on the battery life of this hard disk base unit compare to SSD using 5800mAh battery?

Easy.... use the cdrom and make a bootable sd card using ur other XP Laptop.

Then configure ur eeepc so that it booted up using the sd-card

walla... u will be in bsness

..... this is explain in the hardcopy manual (it mentions 3 types of recovery and this is the 3rd method .....
