Hi guys , i'm going to get my 1st digital cam ..After done some reading and research , i think i will go for Fuji although its not really hot or well-known brand in m'sia but its well recommended by LYN ppl here ..

Is it really worth to get the f100fd over the f50fd ? From the retail price pricing , its only Rm 200 differences , i don mind to top-up the Rm 200 if its more worthwhile.. By the way , is it not ok to get the f47fd ? The price are seems right for me currently or i should saved up the $$ to get f50fd or maybe f100fd ..

Lastly , how's the quality built for fuji cam compare to other brands ? I not sure about the normal life span for a digital cam , i'm expecting maybe 3-4 yrs ..Would that be possible ?

f40fd is already replaced by the f47fd right ? F47fd also able performe well in low-light condition , at least better than compatible rival ?
I might consider to get f47fd 1st to test out how good is fujifilm product and sustain condition ..did u think that's a good idea ?

oh , extra megapixels is not equals to more benefited or should i said more detailed ? But since f47fd don have IS and the wide angle , this is surely out from my list and i going to saved up straight to get f100fd ..Althought it might eats up some time but i think its wise to do that ..

Oh , when is the f110fd gonna release to public ? If not mistaken , f100fd now jst on heat .. I don think it'll come out a new model in short period , at least 5- 8 months .. right ?

Is the f31fd really that good ? Now gonna come out with limited edition ??

navilink: ya , everyone is talking about the great of F31fd ..But too bad la , can't get it anymore in the market ,was too late to find out that ..

Wat i think now with my limited knowledge and info , f100fd is better bet we can placed ..

Jst now went to Pc fair and don have the chance to test out F100fd , as i can't find any at there ...
Btw , jst now played around with Ixus 860 .. Seems like the performence are not bad after trying few shot with different setting e.g taking a "shaking" hand shot , taking a clear "background" shot .. etc..
The salesman said that ixus860 has now improve and able to take a low-light condition without having much noise which i fee doubt about that ..Yes , i'm true after view the sample photos that provided at dpreview.com

Back to F100fd , i'm really concern about the quality bulit of a fujifilm product .. Is it really reliable ? Heards from the Canon salesman , 7 out of 10 fuji's user will come back after 1 or 2 yrs becoz of manufacture defects... Is that true ?

I'm still having hard time to decide which 1 to get for my 1st DC .. Ixus 860i or f100fd..
How's the f100fd's outdoor shot ? I only know tat f100fd definitely much better than Ixus 860 for indoor / low-light condition . Right now , i'm also not sure whether am i gonna take alot of indoor picture or not . Mind to post up some outdoor photos ?

That's ok , i think i will get it nx month if my budget are allow .. So there's no rush for me and still doing some research to finds out which suits me better..

It sems like its not the right time to get the F100fd as there's some issues of it , i jst read up something regarding the memory card problem ..

Oh, u got yrself a f50fd .. To me , this model not really worth to get it ( Thanks to gogo2 )..
At least now days , PnS type camera should have the wide angle features ..

Of coz la , if u're starting to touch on higher end camera rather than PnS .. Is it among all the brand and model of PnS which is the same level , its about the same ?

Wat the use for IS ? Wat i know is that , when come to low-light condition , u need a high ISO and long exposure to capture movement object . Where comes to outdoor activity , we need to set to "Spot mode" in order take movement object .. So wat's a IS ?
Sry if i sounds noob as i jst start to learn and know about camera..

ok guys , i think i got it .. If the object that we're going to take is stand still , then the IS features is helpfull in order to avoid taking a blur shots might cause our shaking hands during the shoting ..

For a moving object , this is where the "spot mode" comes into picture .. Am i right ?
