hi there..
i need some help in OC-ing my PD 820. i cant get it to be stable at 3GHz.the best i can get is 2.98GHz with 1.3V..any suggestions for 3GHz?

are you on water cooling or what? better use high grade thermal paste coupled with volcano class hsf.

one of the posts even stated "you can get the 820 up to 3.8 even hit 4hz with good enough cooling i was running mines at 4ghz stable but it was getting to hot so i set it back down to 3.8ghz stable its all depends what your set up is and if u got enough cooling"


well, i'd say 50/50 as his question is "technical" & about "overclocking"..
so it can appear here or Overclockers United

Whats your idle and full load temp?

load at 3.1GHz was 50+..is it too hot? idle not sure

Not too hot.. My X2 3800+ F3 @ 3.2GHz, full load 60 under AC 64 Pro ..

wow..but under load really noisy..considering an upgrade, but no cash, so have to OC..darn..

Its even 'too' hot.... Not bad.... Could it be ur temp??? Bcuz 50c+ is not very hot.... Mine @63c.... consider urs ok
