QUOTE(168257061 @ Feb 17 2008, 08:24 PM) Silent PSU ? Gigabyte Odin GT set the fan speed to minimum 800rpm on 14cm fan . its very quiet. Like I said , if your PC having a 8800GT , you wouldn't be able to hear the power supply no matter quiet or noisy PSU because your Graphic Card fan cover it. I need someone who really thinks noise is a problem. NOt those who choosing Performace over noise. This post has been edited by kingmax: Feb 17 2008, 09:21 PM

How silent is silent? ~22db (Stock intel cooler noise levels) silent enough for you?
If you want less than 22db, tough luck, a PC is not recommended for you.

I am pretty sure you can't compare 22db.Everyone is different , some even complain stock intel cooler is noisy. So can you tell me how do you measure 22db ? What is your 8800GT db ?

Hi Kingmax bro, my FMA 350W is not noisy, I adjust the fan speed to minimum level. It is more quiet than the chapalang icute power supply (also have 2 8cm fan) that i used before. FYI, my housemate using Enermax Liberty 400W power supply that have only 1 12cm fan, it is quit silent also
