But we don't know how quiet you want.
It's hard to judge and recommend you also:)

Here's an example , I am currently using Enermax FMA 350 http://www.enermax.com.tw/english/product_...ay1.asp?PrID=29Having 2 fan and running at the lowest speed 2000 RPM. I found it my whole room can hear the fan noise.

From on your budget, you can get ST50F. It is a reliable PSU, and cheap too. Based on its website, noise level 22 dBA minimum is pretty silent to me. Should be not much of a different with CM Silent LED fan (19 dBA)

Within you budget,
Just try st50f or a used st56f.
Both are silent.

QUOTE(kingmax @ Jan 23 2008, 10:43 PM) What is thier RPM ? If I raise my budget , will I getting a more quiet psu ? basically i don even realise that my com is on until i want to use my com again sometimes( i always left it idle for downloading with the monitor OFF) with silverstone 560w ...it will cost u around rm320-350... if u have rm600 to splash den u can go for corsair 620w...

less fan? the most fans i saw is 2, and the less... no fan , if you want 0db, get an fanless PSU, but it's just not that good due to our climate here

Silverstone ST40F, ST50F or ST56F is the best choice for your budget. Why are there many users using it? Because of its price + reliable + silent

Right now here are a few question , Which PSU is the most silent PSU For budget : RM 0 - RM 20 = ? RM 201 - RM 400 = ? RM 401 - RM 600 = ? RM 601 - RM 800 = ? My meaning of silent is close to fanless PSU.I'm using Enermax FMA 350W and it's noisy which it had 2 fan running 2000rpm and I am not able to set it lower.

Of course you can't hear the fan if you are using 8800GT stock cooler.8800GT alone is already very noisy when load which cover up the noise of your Corsair VX450.
I want someone who actually having a passive GPU cooling or no graphic card at all to compare the power supply noise.
Is it that hard finding a silent power supply or every lowyat.net user never even bother about the noise level of the pc ?
