last week i saw an ad in ebay.com.my which selling n95 8gb with very cheap price. interested with the price, then i send him an e-mail to confirm i would like to buy the phone.. he rejects when i ask to do cod, because that was our first deal. he said, he only do cod with his previous buyer.. then i said ok.. i transfered the money rm 1k++ to him last week ago, jan 16.. then i asked him to sms me after he shipped the item.. and he gave me the tracking no.. and today, am thinking why poslaju takes it so long? one week already, but why my stuff isn't coming yet? then i called poslaju nilai by phone (because am staying at nilai) , just want to track my stuff, and poslaju said the tracking no is not on their list..

right now, am trying to call the seller by phone, but it doesnt active...

well it is risky to deal with m'sia ebay seller that didnt COD.
but I got try before with one ebay seller which has been banned by ebay on the day after I win the bid.
He has try to call me do COD at KLCC, & I accept the deal.
Finally the deal is successful, & he explained that he got banned because he got one bad comment from other seller & now he is try to reveal his account.

Thats my story, COD always safer (not 100% )

The way I see it, too many people are involved here...

I heard about Ebay system... It's not safe at all. Most of their buyer got CONNED by the seller but when reported...they only closed the thread or items posted by seller. They never offer help or at least share those information about the seller to allow the buyer to log in a police report.

With that, those CON-MAN will never dare to do it in Ebay and Ebay will keep their reputation. I never buy from ebay DOT com DOT my.... but EbayDOT com can still be consider, as long as they are register as genuine seller.

I agree with you bhorng...as long you dont BID, its not their problem...if you check carefully, the con case winning BIDS at EBAY Malaysia are ridiciously HIGH..ie RM100k for 1 Sony Notebook...

I wrote so many emails to Ebay International and Malaysia....they just cant help..cause we didnt go through the normal bidding way...
