I'm looking for something along the lines of:

Can't really explain what I really liked in those series, but all of them gave me a bittersweet feeling. I'm looking for an anime that deals with more of an adult theme (not hentai), doesn't rely on fan service and harem jokes to fill up an episode. Yeah I know my request is kinda hard, but I hope someone might be able to help.

Dear Haruhi,

I will definitely recommend Monster (You people! Run and watch this! Do not wait). It's a mystery genre with a bit of morality questions thrown in. Imagine The Fugitive (movie+drama) when it gets twisted.

Another one is Mushishi. Beware, it tends to move reaaaallllyyyy slow. But when each episode concluded, you started to think like Ginko did, that mushi just living as it is.

I, will try to watch Code Greass, since tons of ppl here since to like it. We'll see.

Currently only keeping tabs on Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu (m.3.3.w ) and watching an old anime subbed by chihiro Kono Aozora ni Yakusoku Wo.

So please do recommend me some anime either older ones or newer ones or upcoming ones (owh...yea wat is coming out for Fall 2008 anime? to replace Special A for example)

Lastly, pls don include anime that is of battle type (even if it contain the genre i like) (anyway battle as in Hayate is fine but nt those serious war or stuff like that)
