I think the art of magikano is pretty much acceptable. Not bad.

Magikano animation n art quality arent that bad, in fact its really good (just not as good as Kyo-anime stuff, or watever its was called).

well compare the art, i like the anime's more than manga. i would say, the art wont let u down.

Hi all,

I'm not really into anime or manga. However I've seen Final Fantasy: Advent Children and lately AppleSeed : Ex-Machina and I really do like it.
Thus I've been trying hard to look for movies with similar animation in 3d but in vain. I prefer 3 d animation as it looks really cool as compared to 2d.

Hence i am asking all you anime fans in here. Can anyone recommend any other movies with similar 3d animation like the abv i mentioned?

Elfen Lied, Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, Mai Hime, Gantz, Claymore, Chobits, Grave of the Fireflies, Air TV, Clannad Movie, Now and Then, Here and There, Fushigi Yuugi, Ayashi no Ceres, Fullmetal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, Gungrave, Spirited Away, Naruto, BlackJack (all including movies and ovas) & BlackJack 21, Ray the Animation, 5 centimetres m per seconds, Princess Mononoke, Eureka Seven, a few Gundam series including the lastest Gundam 00, Bleach: Memories of Nobody, School Days (i no u all no it), Gensomaiden Saiyuki & Saiyuki Reload, Rave Groove Adventure, Ragnarok the Animation, Rurouni Kenshin OAVs...

Huge list i no but recommended by moi. Now watching True Tears but doesn't look sad so far so anybody can tell me more sad animes? thx

hmmm.... I'd recommend:

Inuyasha (ok.. this is the only 160+ eps that i dont get bored with... unlike naruto or bleach... sry fans.. just my opinion) - despite being an older anime (2001) this anime's packed with everything you can ask for... excitement, good story, romance, heartbreak, confusion, humour, blablabla...

Macross (the original one) - if you're an anime fan... gotta watch this 1

Lovely Complex (the best romance anime) - i'm not much of a love story anime type of person... but i watched this series 3 times

Akira (its a movie) - i love the concept and difference in the anime. It's one of a kind.

Tenchi muyo universe - ok... it gets boring as some parts, but still it's a great anime

Claymore - i heard 2nd season's coming out, but the first season's good. Storyline not that fantastic though.....

Capeta - go-cart racing anime... the greatest so far =P

12 kingdoms - anime from a novel. It's a great anime, historical though. I was so sad when they stopped production T___T

Saiunkoku monogatari - 2nd season's ongoing. another historical anime, and it's great. It's good to see how witty government officials in the past were.

Kyou Kara Maou! - ok... i know everyone loves this anime.... haha season 3's ongoing

Love Hina - i used to love this anime... when i was a kid =P but now that i think back... its sort of a dull anime that survives on just one objective...

Gundam seed - still love this 1... didnt really liked destiny although asuran was my fav character.

Vampire Hunter D - ok... my favourite... i even buy the novels

there's a few more but just cant get it out... will update when i think of it.
I've seen like... 100 animes already (oh well... i started at an early age =P) but only a few that's actually really good anime

anyway... lovely complex is packed with tears in the middle... but after that you'd probably laugh all the way. There's another story which made me sad..... oh ya chrono crusade.. this is sad... and summore... let me think... i'll update soon
