Well this is Franken + buffer = Franken Plus.

Cant wait to get there LOL looking forward to see the real potential of DAC100, with chua's scary blue snake powercord, that would be fantastic! It's currently "forced" to pair with my Aego 2, which I believe it's limiting it's potential ...

OT a bit,so anyone selling "upgrated" Zero DAc? DAC 100?

Finally I got the buffer installed. The works is now almost complete. Hopefully by Sunday I can get the Franken Plus to works as it is. Good thing is I can switch to Franken too. without plus.


Buffer improve in the dynamics and the smoothness of sound.

the one i have is CD63 only just put in OPA-SUN ... others keep stock is my fren unit

I'm staying just beside Bank of China, not my house ... Is it ok for you? Else I can move to any LRT station that you prefer, haha I'm very comfortable with public transportation in KL, I'm just too sucks driving in KL

Damn impress for it performance!
May I know does op627 is single or pair in the so called zero+?
does the earth,moon & sun hdams is playing different role with the op627?
I'm using esw9 with my laptop, with this powerful dac n the laptop output,does it still need amp to drive it?

i can say OPA sun out perform than opa627
opa627 is single channel that y it need 2 opa627.
OPA-SUN is call discrete opamp and OPA627 is IC opamp

try the earth
it is the most neutral opamp i tried with my zero dac
loving it every moment and pairing with my mhm
makes all my cans sings like guardians angels

yeah Earth not bad i prefer SUN more energy but moon sound abit weird

hmm btw i saw the audio-gd website jus now
the dac 3 se decoder look interesting... hdcd input somemore....
does it have coaxial and optical input like the zero....

normally it have coaxial but i think using BNC
