QUOTE(xixo_12 @ Feb 10 2008, 10:52 AM) Thanks a million for the cpu-z 1.44 The TA770 A2+ is my friend's one. Turn up his HDD is the main problem, but the mobo still boot a bit slower than others |

QUOTE(User_Xp @ Feb 10 2008, 11:29 AM) Biostar TA770 A2+ is a good board. Do not hesitate in getting it QUOTE(CV6149 @ Feb 10 2008, 11:32 AM) I hope everything is ok bro......... TA690G all the way so what is the best am2 mobo now??? is the TA690g still the king?? QUOTE(awh85 @ Feb 10 2008, 01:25 PM) thanks. trying it out now. =D xixo gave a link to download cpuz 1.44. i trust cpuz better. btw TA690G is undervolt isn't it ?overdrive doesnt work on 690G chipsets T_T core temp is giving me a 1.3000v reading for VID which i assume is vcore right? compared to cpu-z which is giving me weird readings. erm...which one is more accurate? QUOTE(dj.eRicZzz @ Feb 12 2008, 08:55 AM) From what I know CnQ enabled means it increases or decreases your proc multiplier based on your what processing needs. Ex: you're using X2 3600+ with max multiplier 9.5 with CnQ enabled. On idle, it runs x5 but when you run heavier task or application, it will run at x9.5 |

QUOTE(ongbs @ Feb 12 2008, 11:54 PM) bro, which proc you get the temp huh? Use Core Temp for reading temp ? Brisbane having problem with DTS, so I use Everest Ultimate. Is it reliable to monitor CPU temp ? Coz night time my idle is 21-24C, 25% OC @ stock vcore. Day time around 28-30Cmy f3 OC to 3GHz with default Vcore and cool with mid-end WC also can't get that low..read with coretemp! |

Biostar TA770 A2+ really damn slow while booting. It takes nearly 1 minute in that green Biostar bios, and around 2 minutes in windows bootscreen
Will TA780 be the same ? |

It is his mobo that I'm talking about in previous page, slow booting in BIOS and bootscreen. Can take a quick nap some more
Green Biostar screen - 1 minute Windows bootscreen - 2 minutes or so I already flash the latest BIOS on that mobo, native IDE but still the same. The boot will be normal IF he plug in IDE HDD |

Try 1.48V bro awh85
Btw you're using kalakatu's PSU right ? Should be able to achieve 3GHz since he did |

awh85, maybe lowering HTT multiplier helps ? Tuniq Tower 120 seems affordable
someone said that Brisbane CPU temp can be trusted, it just the temp on core CPU #1 and CPU #2 cannot be trusted. forgot who said but IINM I did asked last time |

QUOTE(za_az @ Feb 16 2008, 05:12 PM) EDITED: Hoho he did post for the timing. No vdimm posted before Based on my exp, cooler just cools down my temp. It doesn't really helps me to go further. Last time with stock HSF I manage to go 2.85GHz stable, same goes now with GeminII. I just need a good PSU to go further Added on February 16, 2008, 5:20 pm QUOTE(awh85 @ Feb 16 2008, 05:14 PM) my load temps for 1.36 vcore at 2 300x9.5 is around 55c +/- IINM. OC-ing RAM is for you to determine the RAM max bandwidth. Correct me if I'm wrong.btw, can i ask, whats the benefit of OC-ing RAM? [attachmentid=399093] hmm...my RAM at 713, is that considered ok? or can it go higher? if can go higher, can i know roughly how to do it? thanks? btw, my ram voltage as of now is default. Added on February 16, 2008, 5:16 pm vdimm is ram voltage right? stock as of now...which is something like 1.95 if i remember correctly. i din change it. Or maybe it is unstable due to you didn't pump any vdimm ? This post has been edited by afosz: Feb 16 2008, 05:20 PM |

If it is me, I choose 3.2GHz with 4-4-4-12 timing better. Or maybe it needs more vdimm for that timing

The poison is strong, get as high GHz as you want but for 24/7 setup and faster memory, tighter timing is better

But temp above 55C for load kinda too high for me
I prefer to keep HTL below 1000MHz, don't feel like exceeding it. A bit maybe acceptable |

QUOTE(mizivincible @ Feb 16 2008, 11:22 PM) Thanks. i never touched 1200mhz before. The highest is 1066mhz. I think I'll use 533 divider then. CL4 ? Will try with 4-4-4-5-11 then. 900mhz should be nice paired with 3.6 (if achievable la) haha. That one I was talking about when I use stock HSF. 55c already too hot for me. Now no more, got super duper uber fast fans Anyway, issit the stock speed only uses 1.16v ? mine is like that one. If wanna start oc I straight pump until 1.26v. Added on February 16, 2008, 11:26 pm Yours will never touch 55c la got super fast fans hahaha |
