QUOTE(neosan2806 @ Jan 25 2008, 11:25 PM) Ok boss dun worry will apply loan from u From what I observe so far when buying TF, these are usually the things that ppl use to goreng:-All ritey then, will start studying them.... Actually i've been in the retail bussiness for more than 10 years alredi.... And in my experience i've seen alot of new shops open and oso seen alot of shop's that can't survive.. This i need to plan carefully, that's y i need u guys suggestions and opinions. And i respect u guys for replying and answering my question, really really appreciated it 1) Must buy in set So hasbro ship things in mixed cases and so the only way to get rid of them is to sell in sets. Fine, but do atleast give come discout abit and not charge 100% rrp or more for it. Or show that you have atleast TRIED to order from Hasbro in solid cases. I think it is possible to order in solid cases since someone posted a picture of a solid case of Takara Ironhides recently. 2) Must buy this in order to buy this. This is worse than no.1 . Already you have to pay premium for an item, but now you are force to buy something else to buy the stuff you want? and lagi that extra item is goreng. OUch! Worse offenders.... well ... i think everyone knows. 3) Put a ridiculously high price for an item. I can name a few which does this. some of the shops in BTS sells deluxes for prices you can get a takara leader! The wonderful thing about it is that the stocks are still there. 4) Scapling Golden rule: NEVER Scalp. If info leaks out that your shop is scalping chances are you will be out of business really quick. Not that I want you to practice them, just to tell you the frustrating part of buying TFs |

Got the Storm Surge and some Target/Walmart exclusive scouts like the jeep, but didn't buy coz low funds Bought that lone Landmine for RRP oh, got 3 Encore Ironhides and 3 Encore Ratchets selling at RM 89.90. |

***** read that the other TW is selling CHEAPER
Holy PRIMUS!!!@$!@$!@$!@ WTF man I knew something was not right and going to kena screw surely. Last time I heard that TWiz selling Mirage Alt at RM 100, but that time already book Mirage from TWorkers for RM 130. Of course, that time already quite late and after the Rm 100 Mirage was released Then when pre-ordering the offroad ironhide charge so high, RM 128 Now kena goreng by buying those 4 OVERPRICED ALTs I also pre-ordered that Hasbro MP SS from TWorkers since mid-Dec, THEY BETTER NOT SELL IT FOR RM 200 After I get the Bintang Jerit I might not buy from only 1 source, might try to buy from elsewhere. Lyn.net is a good place to ask for price 1st. Also, NEVER DEPOSIT ALOT unless you know you won't kena screwed So Vanguish, since you know James very well, can ask him to sell at RRP? I know TWiz and other toy shops might undercut him but atleast sell at RRP. I suggest maybe at the start of the thread we put all the contact number and places where we can buy TFs so that we can inquire which place have the "BEST PRICE IN TOWN". It will help alot P.S: The black takara ironhides sold by TW are imported ones and not from Hasbro. I think can be from anywhere from Play-asia to other distributers since I remember a forummer here showing a picture of his takara ironhides still in a box. How much was that forummer selling? Well of course TW have overheads to cover so that price will be higher. Sorry for making this a rant post, but kinda feel I should ask Lyn.net FIRST. |

QUOTE(Vanquish @ Jan 30 2008, 10:33 PM) I know how u feel, man... Although I know James well (not very well la), but I'm just a friend and a customer, I am not his business partner, therefore I cannot tell what he should do with his business... Thanks vanguish Actually, there's a pinned thread where all infos about toy shops in Malaysia is listed there... U can check it out there... Here it is... It's ok, there is still the other TW Hmm, TWorkers is not there I was wondering, can you actually pre-order from ToyWiz those 4 alts in the 1st place? |

Opened my Alt Dead end today
Anyway, comparing it to my KO BT Dead End, the ORI IS WAY BETTER!! the KO didn't get the front torso front part right so the windscreen is like hanging there and does not lock the upper torso. Also the ori legs make the alt can stand easily compared to the KO cannot stand properly. Even the instructions are different!! Both have separate transforming sequence! Will post pics when got time, now going to sleep. But KO Dead End has die-cast parts and a better paint job |

You guys think Classics 2.0 was awesome, then see this CGI clip
The battle between Prime and Megatron, redone in CGI. http://www.hasbro.com/transformers/universe/ As for Classics 2.0, I think I won't simply pre-order unless I know it is close to the RRP!! |

I'm more of the G1 type of TF fan, so animated to me is too.. childish. comparing classics 2.0 to TFA, I prefer classics 2.0. Prefer they TF to be as close to the real thing as possible.
Want Sunstreaker.. want Prowl.. want octane..err tankor Imagine Classics 2.0 Prime |

Opened my other 2 Alts already.
First to be opened, swindle; beyond expectation!!!! OMG got active suspensions, rubber tires, and like a jeep wrangler!!! Last to be opened was my Alt Silverstreak. The joints are tighter than the KO smokescreen that I got and the bonnet closes properly unlike my KO, cannot close properly if the gun is placed inside This post has been edited by paanjang16: Jan 31 2008, 10:08 PM |

Time for photo spam
Took photos of my offroad ironhide, the paint work is not bad actually. But I found a small defect; they missembled the left headlight, so sengek at bit. Other than that the rest looks ok. Take LRT from Asia Jaya tak sampai 30 saat sudah sampai kat Taman Jaya. Suggest take the cab from Seksyen 17 straight to A&W. Wah everyone talking bout MP OP, wish I can get one .. at non-goreng rrp price |

I have compared by Ori Alt Dead End with the KO BT Dead End. To my great surprise, the KO is 90% accurate to the ori, except some parts where there is a manufacturing or design (actually copying error).
Part 1 shows the the 2 in robot mode Front ![]() Back ![]() Dead End vs KO Dead End ![]() ![]() Obviously the torso is different, but the screw location and most of the indentation and shape of plastic are identical. The paintwork is different of course, and the gun for the real thing is chrome and straight. The biggest flaw of the KO is that is can't lock the torso with the windscreen like the ori, that is why the windscreen for the KO seems like it is going to fall forward and lower. |
